Solution:

Your anti-virus software is likely preventing HAC from loading. Add loader.dll to your white list or temporarily disable your anti-virus protection before you load Halo. If required, please consult the manual for your anti-virus software for the specifics on how to do this.


Problem:

After minimising Halo and returning, the screen may go black for a brief period and the game crashes shortly after.

Solution:

You can enable hac2's custom_chat and see if the resolves the issue.
